Nothing at Hazel Park last night. Trying a track with some better horses tonight.

Race #1 Tri Key 8/27
Race #2 Tri Key 8/246
Race #3 Tri 3/2/145
Race #4 Tri Key 4/38
Race #5 Tri 7/2/56
Race #6 Tri 8/9/57
Race #7 Tri 78/78/56
Race #8 Tri 7/3/249
Race #9 Tri Key 7/258
Race #10 Tri Key 5/27
Race #11 Tri Key 4/679
Race #12 Tri 6/1/45
Race #13 Tri 56/56/17
Race #14 Pass

Unfortunately I had to put these bets in at 2:00 p.m. so any changes (scratches, drivers) might result in no action or having someone driving that isn't what I look for in a driver. But that's the way things go sometimes.

Good luck to all horse bettors.

I am strictly a Tri bettor. For those of you that like to bet W/P/S here are some value horses that I see tonight at Pocono.

Race #2 The #2 horse -ALLAMERICAN LUXOR- is a M/L 10-1. Broke at 1/2 mile last time out but ran two solid races before that. Good chance to hit the board tonight. Runs with a good driver too - Mike Simons.

Race #3 The #2 horse -STRANGE SENSATION- M/L 10-1 has been parked out the last two races for over 1/4 mile. Has run much better before that and a #2 post should help. The #4 horse in this race is 15-1 M/L and has had good times in the last two finishing third and fourth.

Race #7 The #6 horse - EXTENAL HEAT- a morning line 10-1 has a decent shot, but a driver change could hurt.

Race #8 The #3 horse -GEORGE THE GREEK- 10-1 M/L can't beat the #7 but has good value in the P/S pools.

Race #9 The #7 will win, but #2 -MATTED HARE- 20-1 M/L and #5 -PRESIDENTIAL SKAM- 15-1 M/L have good chances of hitting the payoffs. The #2 horse ran some fantastic times this summer (1:52 and 4 and 1:53 and 3) and has run two qualies to get to this race. The #5 horse has run well as of late and in the last race ran a sub :28 last quarter. Good post and good driver.

Race #10 -BENCHMARK HANOVER- a morning line 20-1 broke the last time out at Vernon Downs, but trotted a 1:59 at Pocono with the driver he likes. He also ran a 1:57 and 4 earlier in September. The M/L favorite (2-1) is the #5 horse who should win, but his best times are at Lex1 (1:56 and 2) which is about 1-2 seconds faster than Pocono.

Race #11 The #6 horse - JAWS- won't beat the #4 horse, but at 15-1 has a good shot at a P/S.

Race #13 The #5 horse -MAJOR LIABILITY- an 8-1 M/L has a good chance to win this race. A good driver, a good horse with the best post.

Granted these are all M/L odds and the actual off odds could be very different. However, if the off odds are close to the M/L, I see value in these horses.

Just my two cents.

Good luck to all horse bettors.

Damn!!

First race came in 2-7-8. Tri paid $168.00. I normally don't box my Tri's, but I guess this time I should have. Oh well, hoping to hit something later.

This sucks.

In race #3, the 5 and 3 dead heat for W/P and the 2 runs third. I've got a feeling that this could be one of those nights.

Race #10 -BENCHMARK HANOVER- runs first and pays: $122.40 - $24.60 - $10.80. I thought this horse had some good value, however I wasn't at the track when this race went off. Hopefully someone in this forum cashed a 60-1 winner.

Race #13 5-6-1. Cashed a small winner as the Tri paid $55.20. Was close on a few others and not even close some races.

Trying again this week. Not sure where or when, but will post when I do.

If there are any other Harness bettors out there, I would like to see some input.
